They are acting out of political fear rather than acting on what is good and right. If the press cared a whit about the ayres case these Supes would be taking some moderate ridicule for ignoring requests to rescind the award.

So, if actively ignoring the damage a serial child molester has done to the community is laudable, then yes.. Give Gordon a medal. And give one to all of the current Board of Supes as well.Deep Soundinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15111463003069045187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5166908879185923782.post-32592579284734973382012-10-22T12:32:02.620-07:002012-10-22T12:32:02.620-07:00"Gordon nominated ayres for a lifetime achiev..."Gordon nominated ayres for a lifetime achievement award for his "Tireless effort to improve the lives of children."

Absolutely hilarious. Give that man a medal!

Likewise, George Bush hailed Jerry Sandusky's children's charity The Second Mile as a "shining example" of charity work - one of that president's much-promoted Thousand Points of Light encouragements to volunteer community organizations. Not to be outdone, U.S. Senator Rick Santorum honored Sandusky with an Angels in Adoption award in 2002. (Source: Wikipedia)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
