Appeal is Dismissed
On November 5, 2015, two years (almost to the day) after child molester william ayres's shysters filed to appeal his conviction, the appeal has been dismissed after the appellant (child molester ayres) has failed to file an opening brief.
For quite some time, there were attorneys handling the matter, but ayres' wife Solveig dismissed them a few months ago, claiming that she was acting as the child molester's attorney.
william hamilton ayres was arrested on April 5, 2007 on charges relating to his molestation of many young boys while he was alleging to provide psychiatric care to private patients as well as referrals for evaluation from the juvenile court system in San Mateo County. After years of playing demented for the courts, ayres plead "No Contest" and was found guilty of all charges against him on May 16, 2013. ayres was sentenced to 8 years in prison on August 26, 2013. ayres is no longer under the conservatorship of his daughter Barbara Ayres of Sacramento, CA.
ayres has had significant interaction over the years with local politicians on boards like the "Children and Families First Commission," including the DA who was serving when prosecution began Jim Fox and Assemblyman Rich Gordon. In fact, Gordon nominated ayres for a lifetime achievement award for his "Tireless effort to improve the lives of children." ayres has also been vocally supported during his criminal trial by local head-shrinkers like Bart Blinder, Etta Bryant, Mel Blaustein, Harry Coren, Tom Ciesla, Robert Kimmich, Larry Lurie, Maria Lymberis, Richard Shadoan, Captane Thomson, and Harold Wallach.
Remember good ole Cardell Brown, who was hired by San Mateo County to work at a halfway house with juvenile boys, even though he had a PRIOR RECORD as a sex offender? And remember that he was raping boys at this halfway house, and yet DA Steve Wagstaffe hushed the case up and never told the press about it.. The only reason the press found out about it was because Tom Gundlach, the boys' civil attorney contacted the press to ask why there were no stories on it.
ReplyDeleteAs usual Wagstaffe had some lame excuse that made no sense as to why he never listed this case. We all know why- he didn't want more victims coming forward to sue the County!
Even though he had a prior record as a sex offender and had raped boys, Brown got less than two years in prison !! And as soon as he got out of prison, the cops in Marin County found him lurking around young boys at a bus station..
Well, no thanks to San Mateo County,seems like Brown has gotten into trouble again- this time for failing to alert police of a change of address. He is now serving two years in prison in Illinois for this felony. Thanks for nothing, San Mateo County DA's office!
