| Convicted Pedophile Stuart Forrest |
The jury has found Stuart Forrest, until recently the Chief Probation Officer for San Mateo County, guilty of illegally possessing hundreds of pornographic and sadistic pictures featuring young boys.
Read the San Mateo Daily Journal article (link broken now -- see: pdf) here. They say that Forrest could be sentenced to up to three years and eight months in prison, but other papers have reported that Santa Clara County Judge Robert Atack has indicated that he'd be "hard pressed to send Forrest to prison with the evidence he's seen."
No indication as to when sentencing is, but the article does say that he's still out on bail. UPDATE: According to the San Mateo County Times, sentencing is September 20, 2013.
Great!!! Did anyone contact Marta Diaz for a quote? She and Judge Robert Foiles selected Forrest for his position.

DeleteCan anyone explain how the Justice Department was able to get a conviction in just seven months after Stuart's arrest, but the San Mateo County DA's office still hasn't sentenced Ayres after more than six years after his arrest?
